Accommodation

Competitors are required to arrive in Birmingham by Monday 10 July. Bed and breakfast accommodation will be provided from that day on a basis of shared rooms for groups accepted, for the nights of 10-15 July inclusive.

Practice facilities

RBC will provide groups with practice facilities throughout the competition. This will be on a basis of practice rooms in rota during Round One. In addition, rehearsals before successive Rounds will be arranged either in the Competition venue or an equivalent.

Travel and visas

Competitors are asked to arrange and pay for their own travel to Manchester. In addition, participants with a non-EEA passport will require a standard visa to enter the UK. To check this visit https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa

Entry Fee and Requirements

There is no entry fee.

Other Notes

  • The Competition reserves the right to broadcast, record and film any part of the competition without the participants claiming fees.
  • The Competition welcomes applications from students of the Jury. However, Jury members are not permitted to vote or take part in any discussions relating to their students.
  • Students of Jury members may not receive tuition from that Jury member during the Competition.
  • The official language of the Information and Regulations of the Competition is English. Any discrepancy in interpretation will be resolved on a basis of the English language rules.
  • Competitors are responsible for insuring their personal belongings. RBC and the Competition do not accept responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged whilst in transit or on the premises.
  • Groups who are unsuccessful in passing to the next stage of the Competition are encouraged to attend the event in full, and will be given an opportunity to take part in events given by one or more Jury members during their time in Birmingham.
